Our Mission

Campaign seeks to create a dialogue process that allows for the expression of different opinions in such a manner that contradictions and connections are more readily identified and thus solutions are found.

Campaign is educational and informational, seeking to avoid partisan politics. We seek to probe the community for new ideas, neglected information and perspective, and encourage new thinking. The organization seeks to involve knowledgeable individuals to inform the debates and to stimulate through discussion, promoting words not wars, and seeking effective and efficient solutions to problems.

The present focus is on promoting the understanding and achievement of the UN goals as set out in the Millennium Declaration of the United Nations.

Campaign for the Earth is accredited to the Department of Public Information at the United Nations.

Our Goals

  • Encourage individuals and groups to take responsibility for the state of our world in constructive ways that best suit the person's interest and talent.

  • Acknowledge that those who take this responsibility are part of the same worldwide movement, to protect and enhance our natural environment for the benefit of all species, including humanity, realizing foremost that we are all dependent on the health of our planet.

  • Unite the peoples of our world in common spirit, collective action, teamwork, and in alliance for a better world while acknowledging diversity in thought and action.

  • Encourage local to global connections.

  • Work with UN agreements as opportunities and guidelines.

Our Methods

Campaign focuses on encouraging concerned individuals to become involved in seeking solutions to the world’s problems and assists them in their task of bringing their local knowledge and expertise to the global level. It does this by providing consultation, research and referral service as well as donations of time and money to organizations and individuals who seek to advance society through the U.N. and its “development continuum” of agreed upon standards.

These agreements on the global level can point us in the right direction on a conceptual level toward our goals for peace and human rights. However, they must be implemented at the local level and consequently, our U.N. NGO representatives take their experience back to the local communities where they contribute to local processes such as legal mechanisms and political procedures that will bring U.N. standards to bear upon the local communities.
